Snowy Weekend

Snowy weather with chilly temps made for a low key weekend for us filled with a little crafting/diy'ing and a whole lot of cooking.

For me, snow days mean homemade Baked Potato Soup, and boy do I make it goooooood.

(note I didn't say healthy...)

There was some baking involved, as well as a little crock pot action, more on all of that later!

(and fortunately there was some good gym time to counter all the cooking and eating that took place)

We ventured out for a little wine date at a cozy bar in town.

AND the most EXCITING part (yes, I know admissions like these make me old. It is what it is.) - our bedroom makeover got some serious attention - painting is complete and hardware on furniture was replaced! Our headboard is getting delivered today so we'll assemble that this evening and put the room back together. We'll still need to work on getting things on the walls but I am sooo excited to put things back in their place tonight with the headboard and see how it all looks together!
