So I know that birthday party looked like a fabulous time
(and trust me, it was), so I hate to rub it in,
but the weekend fun didn't end there.
What's just as much fun as partying with your friends at the river on a beautiful Saturday night?
Waking up Sunday morning and getting to do it all over again.
Ok, maybe we didn't do the party-hearty bit again (or is it party-hardy? I'm never sure), but it is awesome having all your friends stay over so the next morning you can talk about what a great time you had the night before.
After a recuperating round of breakfast sandwiches and coffees at The Local, we lounged poolside-
the boys playing in the pool and the girls sipping daytime cocktails and trading trashy celeb magazines.
Ella Bella was in town and graced us with her
new signature camera face:
After some good lounge time, everyone was up for a little activity and took turns going for a paddle, which when you have an audience, really just means laughing at each other for falling and doing dumb things.
Ella explained that she's "driving to Nordstrom's".
When our friends packed up and headed back to Richmond- we headed for a new river and went to my parents' for a late afternoon boat ride with beers, paddle boarding and dinner.
I knew Dad would eat this up.
Gin and tonics on the dock, life doesn't get any better than this!
Mom even gave it a try!
Whew. Ok that concludes our amazing first weekend in June.
Proceed to be jealous.
