Some Much Needed R & R

This weekend was everything we needed, and more.

my beautiful hydrangeas are in full bloom

We've been going hard the past as far back as I can remember few weeks and weekends and something had to give.

So we cancelled plans, and focused on ourselves.

And for the first time in what feels like a very, very long time, we returned to work on Monday feeling rested and relaxed, and prepared to tackle another week.

Amazing what a few days of that can do to refresh and recharge.

Makes me anxious to plan our vacation,

because I could definitely get used to the pace of life that was our weekend.
